‘French Spiderman’ scales Pune’s tallest towers at Amanora Back
Amanora Park Town played host to the famous Alain Robert, popularly known as ‘French Spiderman’. He climbed the tallest tower in Pune at Amanora Park Town on Sunday, February 28, 2010. Alain is best known for scaling the tallest towers in the world including Petronas Towers in Malaysia, Eiffel Tower in France, the Empire State in the US and Thaipie in China, to name a few. The Frenchman who resides in the Alps, also holds several world records for climbing.  Mr. Aniruddha Deshpande, MD, City Corporation said, “We are proud to launch the tallest towers in Pune city at Amanora Park Town. Alain Robert is known for his feats across the globe, and we are happy that Amanora Towers will get added to his esteemed list of climbed buildings. What is even more exciting for us is the fact that this will always be remembered as the first building he climbed in India. ” Alain Robert said, “I am very excited about my first visit to India and climbing the towers at Amanora Park Town. The buildings that I climb are usually landmarks in their respective cities and I am convinced that Amanora Park Town is a landmark in Pune, India.” Amanora Towers is the first building registered as the tallest building in Pune. The first 30 buildings under the Amanora plan are high-rise buildings.
