Amongst 500 companies from India, Pune's Amanora Group wins the prestigious Energy Efficient Management Award at an event organized by Confederations of Indian Industries. This award is for "Efficient Energy Management". Few of the other participating companies were, Tata power, Tata Motors, Tata steel, JSW steel, ICICI banks, Reliance Jamnagar refinery, Reliance Power, Ambuja cement, Aditya Birla, ACC cement, L & T, JMR Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Forties group of Hospitals, etc. This competition is organized every year by Confederation of Indian Industry on a national level. A panel of 36 judges select one of the best energy efficient industries on criteria of BEE star rating, energy saving, innovative ideas, renewable energy and carbon imitation.
